A video of the portion of the roof of popular DLF Mall of India in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida is going viral on the internet. The video of the roof collapsing raising a cloud of dust in the area has gone viral, raising alarm among locals.
Some of the social media users are saying that DLF mall in Noida may have to remain shut for several months after the damages it suffered due to the roof collapse.

The local police authorities have said they have received several calls from locals about the roof collapse after the video started doing the rounds.
However, mall authorities have said it was part of a renovation drive at the mall to ensure social distancing. The mall authorities also said that the video is over a month old.
