Google announced the Android Pie, the 9th major update of the Android operating system, to the public on August 6, 2018. The company had rolled out the alpha version in March 2018.
The public release meant that the company’s Pixel series would get the latest update on the very day. But what did that mean for the rest of the smartphones? When are they getting the latest piece of Pie? are there devices which are already updated or are just a click away?
