'Not so sasti anymore': Taapsee Pannu breaks silence on I-T raids conducted at her premises

Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu finally broke her silence on the I-T raids conducted at her premises. The ‘Thapad’ actor took to Twitter on Saturday and penned down three key points.

She wrote, “3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner.”

“2. The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before”, she further tweeted.

“3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister P.S- “not so sasti” anymore”, Taapsee concluded.

Have a look at the tweets:

Recently, Pannu’s boyfriend Mathias Boe, put forth a request to Union Sports Minister, Kiren Rijiju for help after the actress faced IT raids. In his request, he said that the raids were putting unnecessary stress on her parents.

He took to Twitter, “Finding myself in a bit of turrmoil. Representing Flag of India for the first time as a coach for some great athletes,  meanwhile, the I-T department is raiding Taapsee’s houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents. @KirenRijiju. Please do something,” tweeted Mathias.

The I-T department on Wednesday raided the premises of actor Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anurag Khasyap.

Amidst all of this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has commented on the matter.  Without taking names, she said that raids have been conducted in 2013 also but no one raised questions back then.

She said during a press conference on Friday, “When raids happen on an individual when the previous government raided them then there was no problem but in this government, it becomes an issue. Please look back, in 2013 too, there were raids on the same person.”
