Bhubaneswar, April 30 (IANS) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has mourned the demise of Bollywood’s evergreen actor Rishi Kapoor on Thursday.
The Chief Minister tweeted: “Saddened to learn about the passing away of veteran actor #RishiKapoor. Indian cinema has lost one of the iconic actors who had left an imprint with many memorable movies. My condolences to family, friends and fans.”
Kapoor breathed his last earlier in the day at a Mumbai hospital ICU. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and had received treatment in the US for a year, before returning to India last September.
