Ola Electric Scooter’s launch speculations have been going on for quite some time. It was said that the company could launch these scooters earlier this year, though no information has been received so far. As per sources, ola electric scooters will be able to give a range of 100 km once full charge.
In the month of May 2020, Ola Electric announced the takeovers of Etergo BV located in Amsterdam. The company then set a target of launching electric two-wheelers in India by the year 2021.
OLA will launch Electric Scooter in India that will have a swappable battery. The advantage is that you can put another battery in place when the battery is discharged and go long distances at a time. Ola Electric Scooter can be launched in the market with fast charging support.
According to the company it is currently negotiating with various state governments to prepare electric scooters production plant in India. It will be India’s largest electric scooter production plant. The plant will be producing 2 million electric scooters every year.
In the years to come, the swappable battery service can be provided in all parts of India, so that the scooters that are in the market with a swappable battery can use this service and customers can go long distances without stopping at once.
