OTET 2018: Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has commenced the registration for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test or OTET 2018.

OTET 2018 online application forms are now available on www.bseodisha.ac.in. The last date to apply is November 27, 2018.

The OTET 2018 is conducted to recruit teachers. The candidates who wish to apply should follow the instructions given below.

OTET 2018 Registration process
The simple steps to register for OTET 2018 as folllows:
Step 1: Visit www.bseodisha.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the option mentioning OTET application process.
Step 3: Read the instructions and apply.

Eligibility criteria

Minimum qualification required to be eligible for OTET as follows:

Category – A

The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT or D.El.Ed.).

The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks along with 2 year
Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.

Category – B

The candidate should have passed Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

The candidate should have passed Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

OTET question paper pattern

The exam consists of two papers
Paper- I

The paper is based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Duration of the exam will be 2½ hours.

Paper-II

The paper is based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Duration of the exam will be 2½ hours.

Note:
Question papers in non-language subjects shall be bilingual i.e. in Odia
and English.
