OTET exam 2019, held on January 16, has been cancelled following allegations of question paper leak. The Board of Secondary Education Odisha has decided to conduct OTET 2019 online. The board’s decision comes two weeks after OTET question paper was allegedly leaked on social media.
“The examinations which were cancelled due to question l paper leak on social media will be held online,” said Ara Begum, President of the board.
According to reports, the board is expected to conduct the OTET 2018 after the completion of 10th board exam.
The board took the decision to avoid further instances of leaks.
Why OTET exam is conducted?
OTET exam certifies eligibility of teachers to apply to schools affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education Odisha. OTET exam 2019 was held on January 16.
