Pakistan has reportedly prepared a fresh dossier containing evidence against former Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav who was sentenced to death for his alleged involvements in espionage activities in Karachi and Balochistan.
The new report with more evidences against Jhadav will be submitted to United Nations.
The new dossier consists of information from Jadhav’s ‘confessional’ video and his statements during the court trial, according to Pakistani media.
The dossier also contains the timeline of Jadhav’s alleged militant activities in the country and details of court proceedings along with an attested report of Court Martial General.
Indian High Commissioner to Karachi Gautam Bambawae on Friday had demanded a certified copy of the charge-sheet as well as the judgement in the death sentence of Jadhav.
Earlier, Pakistan had said that death sentence to Jadhav was based on “credible” and “specific” evidence that proved his involvement in spying and terror activities and that a more active diplomacy was needed to arrest the “growing crises” in the Indo-Pak ties.
Meanwhile, Lahore high court Bar Association has said that it will take action against any lawyer who extends his services to Kulbhushan Jadhav.
Jadhav was arrested in Balochistan by Pakistan officials on March 2016 for allegedly trying to enter Pakistan.
