Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra have been keeping busy in the promotion of their upcoming film Jabariya Jodi from past few weeks.
The two have been promoting their films in Gujarat, Chandigarh, New Delhi till now. The film is based on the subject of groom kidnapping which is widespread in the state of Bihar.
Now in the recent development, the film which was supposed to hit the theatre this week on August 2 along with Sonakshi Sinha starrer Khandaani Shafakhana is now shifted to a new date.
The film will now release on August 9, 2019, and it will get the advantage of a holiday release as Bakri Eid which falls on August 12, 2019, which will later increase as Independence Day weekend will follow.
The makers of the movie are expecting to get the advantage of the long weekend and that is why the release date of the film is shifted.
It is the second time the release date of the movie is shifted. Initially, the film was slated to release on July 2019.
Helmed by Prashant Singh, Jabariya Jodi is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Shailesh R. Singh. Now, it is slated to release on August 9, 2019.
