Pathaan box office collection day 2: Shah Rukh Khan starrer creates history on Republic Day, soars past Rs 125 crore in two days

Pathaan Box Office Collection Day 13: All records are meant to be broken, and Shah Rukh Khan’s debut film Pathaan is showing that statement to be true. Last year, when Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 was receiving rave reviews, everyone was ready to dismiss Bollywood. Now, with the release of Pathaan, not only has Shah Rukh Khan returned his position as India’s most popular actor, but he has also revitalised the Hindi cinema industry. Pathaan has become the first hit of 2023, grossing over Rs 400 crore in India for its Hindi edition. It is also doing exceptionally well elsewhere.

Monday’s Pathaan box office collections

On Monday, the Hindi version of Pathaan grossed Rs 8 crore at the box office in India. It was anticipated that attendance would decrease owing to the weekday and the reduction in ticket pricing. The film’s cumulative earnings after 13 days have reached Rs 420 crore, a record for an original Hindi title. Pathaan will surpass KGF 2 as the second highest-grossing picture in India on Wednesday, surpassing its earnings. Prabhas’ Baahubali: The Conclusion will be the only film it will promote afterward.

Pathaan establishes standards for foreign collection

Pathaan has been doing remarkably well overseas, particularly in the Gulf area, where Shah Rukh Khan’s star power is propelling the film’s success. Pathaan continued its record-breaking run at the box office, grossing Rs 832 crore worldwide in 12 days, according to YRF. The film has grossed 319 crore rupees in foreign markets alone. The United States, Canada, the Gulf Region, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland are the biggest contributors to the film’s international collections.
