Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia is leading in Patparganj where he is seeking re-election. Laxman Rawat is representing the Congress while the BJP has fielded Ravinder Singh Negi from the seat, who was leading the Patparganj seat by a clashing margin but after a tough clash, Sisodia bring him down and is caatching up on by the margin of 656 votes.
Out of Delhi’s 70 Assembly constituencies, Patparganj is among the key seats from where VIP candidates are in the fray. Interestingly, it also falls under East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency that was won by BJP’s Gautam Gambhir last year by a huge margin. Delhi held its polling on 8 February while counting of votes is currently going on.
