PM Kisan 20th Installment Date: Check Eligibility, e-KYC Deadline, and How to Apply

PM Kisan 20th Installment Date:The highly anticipated 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is due to be disbursed by the end of June 2025. Having seen more than 9 crore farmers take advantage of the last tranche, the wait for the next payout has been one of great expectations. To ensure immediate transfer of ₹2,000 to their bank accounts, beneficiaries need to undergo compulsory e-KYC and fulfil other eligibility verification tasks beforehand. Here’s what you need to know about the new installment, including how to apply and check your application status.

PM Kisan 20th Installment Date

Disbursement of the 20th tranche of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) ₹2,000 in cash to each identified farmer beneficiary, part of an annual support of ₹6,000 is likely to happen by late June 2025 or beginning of July 2025 after the 19th installment was released in February.

Eligibility

To qualify for the PM Kisan’s 20th installment, one must:

  • Be not older than 35 years as on 01.01.2023.
  • Have legal title to cultivable land
  • Be a small or marginal farmer
  • Not be an old-age pensioner drawing Rs.10,000 or above per month
  • Have no income tax return filed
  • Have no history as an institutional landholder.

e-KYC Completion

To get the 20th installment, farmers need to take a number of required actions ahead of the disbursement deadline. e-KYC completion via Aadhaar OTP or biometric/face authentication—is non-negotiable and designed to ensure transparency and direct fund transfer to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts .
It’s easy to do e-KYC in just three steps!

  1. OTP-Based e-KYC:If your Aadhaar is linked with your mobile no, go to the PM Kisan’s website and authenticate using the OTP.
  2. Biometric e-KYC:Visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) for fingerprint authentication.
  3. Facial Authentication:A special facility for senior citizens and physically challenged farmers is now available at CSCs, allowing e-KYC through facial recognition.

Although the deadline for e-KYC completion differs by source, it is generally accepted as June 20 or June 30, 2025, so farmers should complete the process far in advance to prevent potential delays.

Link Aadhaar Card With Bank Accounts

Beneficiaries need to link their Aadhaar with their bank account and need to check their name on the beneficiary list which is published on PM-Kisan portal. Verifying documents such as state, district, block and village information ensures eligibility and prevents disqualification at the last moment. Farmers can carry out these actions through the pmkisan.gov.in portal, PM-Kisan mobile app, or through Common Service Centres (CSCs) for farmers not digitally equipped.

How To Apply For PM Kisan Samman Nidhi?

1. Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in

2. Select ‘New Farmer Registration’

3. Provide your 12-digit Aadhaar number and captcha

4. Provide the information, check the box ‘Yes.

5. Fill out the form, print it, sign it, and bring your signed printout

Over 9.8 crore farmers are receiving the benefit of the last installment unlocked (19th, released February 24, 2025) for the country’s PM Kisan scheme. Making the soon to be released 20th payment heavily anticipated throughout India. Experts have pointed out that following the e-KYC, bank link, and registration process is crucial to not lose out on the ₹2,000 payout.
