PM Kisan 22nd Instalment Date 2026:Millions of farmers enrolled under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme are eagerly awaiting the 22nd instalment of financial assistance. Under this flagship government initiative, eligible farmer families receive ₹6,000 annually, split into three equal quarterly payments of ₹2,000 each directly into their bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
As of the end of December 2025, the Indian Government has not formalized the date for the 22nd instalment but several reliable media sources and news reports have a next, to, last 2, 000 transaction credited in the month of February 2026. The reason for this prediction is the release pattern in the past (about every four months) and the matching with the previous instalment timelines.

The citizen of India must be a holder of an Indian citizenship card.
The family of a farmer must be the owner of cultivable agricultural land based on the official land records.
The beneficiaries should not be institutional landholders or those who are in the following categories that are disqualified such as high, income taxpayers, government employees receiving large pensions, professionals like doctors and lawyers (depending on criteria changes over time).
Besides the basic eligibility, e, KYC verification has become a very important procedural requirement for receiving instalments. If farmers do not complete their e, KYC or if their Aadhaar details are not correctly linked with the bank accounts, then they will be unable to receive the instalment, or at the very least, it will be delayed.

1. Visit: pmkisan.gov.in
2. Go to ‘Farmers Corner’
3. Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’
4. Enter details such as Aadhaar or registration number
5. You can now check your village list under ‘Beneficiary List’
As of now, the government has given away close to one lakh crore rupees through the scheme, which has been a benefit to over 11 crore farmer families across the country.
What Farmers Should Do Next?
Regularly visit the official PM, KISAN portal (pmkisan.gov.in) in the section Farmers’ Corner Beneficiary Status to check the status of your payments.
Make sure that the e, KYC and Aadhaar, bank linkage are done or updated if they are incomplete long before the date of the release so that there will be no waiting time in the processing of your instalment.
Ensure to have correct land records and that your personal and bank details in the PM, KISAN profile are accurate.
