Tiranga Yatra, the massive week-long people contact programme envisaged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being carried out successfully by BJP MPs across the country. PM Modi on Thursday took Twitter to thank some of his party MPs for taking part in the Yatra with much fervour.

Modi mentioned on his official twitter handle BJP National Secretary and MP from Mumbai Poonam Mahjan for taking part in the Yatra. He twitted, “I could see great fervour with which Tiranga Yatra was held in Mumbai, which was joined by MP Poonam Mahajan.”

PM thanked BJP MP from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey and Dushyant Singh, BJP MP from Rajasthan for participating with much gusto. He also thanked Radhamohan Singh and senior BJP leader Kalraj Mishra.

The idea behind the Yatra is to strike a chord with the common people. Tiranga Yatra is being held from August 15 to 23 in which 75 ministers are expected to visit 150 places associated with the freedom struggle.
