We often fail to realise the efforts of our helpers in schools, homes who make our lives easier and sorted. Whether it is the maid in houose, nurse in hospital or peon in office, we neglect their role. However, a school in Pune has stepped out of the monotony and extended help to the school peon in organising his wedding day.

The school principal and entire staff of SVS High School high school recently raised funds to organise the wedding of their colleague, Ankush Bhosale, who is a peon in the school from two-and-half years.

As per the media reports, Bhosale lost his mother just eight month ago while his father passed way five years ago. Moreover, his three elder sisters are married.

After since his mother was diagnosed with blood cancer, kept urging Ankush to get married so that there would be someone to take care of him. However, due to her illness and medical expenses, it was not possible for Ankush to get married.

When Ankush broached the topic of marriage with Gowri Santhanam, the school principal, she immediately suggested that the staff will help him.

For the wedding ceremony, the school premises and pandal were provided free of cost. At least 300 invitation cards were printed and lunch was also arranged. Nearly 400 guests at the wedding included retired teachers and former principals of the school.
