Releasing a leaked audio conversation between purportedly a journalist and Goa Minister Vishwajit Rane, senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala while addressing media claimed that the Goa Chief Minister has files relating to Rafale deals with him.
“Goa Minister Rane has made sensational revelations. All the Rafale files are with Parrikar. Rane has revealed that everything behind the Rafale deal.”, said Surjewala.
He further added that, “If Modi has nothing to hide, then why those files are in Parrikar’s bedroom which he is using to ensure that nobody does anything to him.”
The Congress asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to submit all the documents related to the purchase of the fighter jets from France to a Joint Parliamentary Committee for a probe.
