Rajasthan: Farm labourer beaten to death by landlords in Hanumangarh

The police had registered a case against landlords under Section 302 of the IPC.

Bhola Singh, 34, a resident of Chak 12SLW village, who was a farm labourer, was allegedly beaten to death by some landlords in Hanumangarh of Rajasthan on Thursday night.

Sukhdev Singh, brother of Bhola Singh, told the police that “Kulwant Singh and his brother Gurdas Singh took Bhola to their farmhouse for some work”. He further said, “Their accomplice Jagsir Singh later told him over the phone that Bhola was lying dead”. The police then reached the spot and got the Bhola Singh shifted to a rural health centre.

The police had registered a case against Kulwant Singh, Gurdas Singh and Jagsir Singh under Section 302 of the IPC. Deputy Superintendent of Police Nihal Singh had started the investigation, the police told media.
