On Sunday, the Education Minister of the state, Govind Singh Dotasra has declared that the Rajasthan Board will start the application process for Rajasthan REET Exam 2020 in November. The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers to hire 31000 Grade 3 teachers posts across the state will be held in February 2021.

The REET Exam would be conducted by the Rajasthan Board Of Secondary Education. The state government is planning to give relaxations in the eligibility criteria to some categories for the examination.

For the relaxations, the government is amending some of the rules which will likely be completed by this month. Soon after the amendment process is completed, the registration process for Rajasthan REET Exam 2020 will begin.

The Board has decided to hold the exam in February keeping in mind the less pressure of work between November to February other than the registration process for Class 10, 12 board exams. The Board has also decided to conduct the Rajasthan Board Exam 2021 in April due to the pandemic.

After the REET 2020 exam results are announced, the education department will fill 31,000 Teachers’ posts.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on October 14, approved the proposal for recruitment of grade 3 Teachers after the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is held.

State Education Minister had made the announcement to conduct the REET exam soon after CM’s approval.

He wrote, “Chief Minister has given relief to millions of unemployed in Rajasthan by approving the proposal sent by the Education Department regarding the recruitment of 31 thousand third grade teachers. Very soon the official notification for NEET examination would release and the exam will be held.”

Through this recruitment drive, 2489 temporary posts have been approved in 282 graded government secondary schools, out of which 104 posts of Headmaster, 1692 of Senior Teacher, 411 of Teacher, and 282 posts of Junior Assistant have been included.
