A 70-year-old lady died Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) because of wrong injection. RIMS in Ranchi has gained criticism over its irresponsible behavior towards patients. RIMS is the biggest hospital in the capital city of Jharkhand and is running without nurses. There is no nurse to attend the patients, in fact the security guards on duty assist patients and also give medicines and injections.

The folks of the 70-year-old created a huge ruckus in the hospital and also beat up the security guard who had injected the deceased. According to reports, the Security guard used to inject the patients after getting instructions from the nurse in-charge. Security guard Praveen Kumar Ojha has been suspended from duty and on Monday, a show cause notice will be issued to the unit in-charge sister.

According to reports, the 70-year-old Kamala Devi was suffering from fever and diabetes and was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday in Dr Umesh Prasad’s ward. Sunday night at around 2 am the health of Kamala Devi started to deteriorate suddenly and she died immediately.

The other patients admitted to the ward said, from injecting medicines to putting saline everything assistance of a nurse job was performed by the guard Ojha. When they protested, the nurse and the administration turned a deaf ear to them. In a conversation with News18, RIMS head, Praveen Jha said that the main accused is the nurse who used to instruct the guard to inject patients.
