Ratia is one of the 90 constituencies to go for polls for Haryana Legislative Assembly on October 21. Ratia falls under Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency of Haryana. Ravinder Baliala is the current MLA of Ratia.

In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, INLD candidate Ravinder Baliala defeated BJP’ Sunita Duggal.

Out of the 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana, 17 are reserved for Scheduled Castes as per the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008.
