RBI Monetary Policy: MPC cuts repo-rate by 35 Basis Points

For the fourth time this year, India’s Monetary Policy Committee cut the repo rate to support growth in the economy.

The MPC cut the repo rate by 35 basis points to 5.4 percent, taking the sum total of rate cuts this year to 110 basis points. The repo rate stands at its lowest since 2010.
