As we are all aware Rekha is one of the legendary actors of Bollywood who is known for her ethereal beauty and flawless performances. The stunning actor made her Bollywood debut in 1969 from the film Anjana Safar and since then she is winning hearts.

The evergreen actor has done more than 150 films in her 50-year long career and never failed to impress her fans.

1. Khubsoorat

In the film, Rekha was seen doing a comic role of Manju Dayal. Directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, starred Ashok Kumar, Rakesh Roshan and Shashikala. Her comic timing and witty replies as a daughter-in-law were hilarious.

2. Silsila

In the film, Rekha was seen playing Chandini. The movie was a love triangle between Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha. Many fans adored the chemistry between the two. It is said that Rekha and Amitabh were dating at that time. The movie was much hyped before it released.

3. Muqaddar Ka Sikandar

The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rekha and Rakhee Gulzar. Rekha plays the role of a dancer Zohrabai. Rekha in the song Salam-E-Ishq is remembered until now. The movie was the highest grosser of the year.

4. Umrao Jaan

Released in 1981, the movie featured Rekha as Amiran but later changed to Umrao Jaan a dancer and poetess. Rekha’s performance in the film is said to be one of the best in her career. The movie also featured Farooq Shaikh, Raj Babbar, Shaukat Azmi and Prema Narayan. She won the National Film Award for the Best Actress.

5. Khoon Bhari Maang

In the film, Rekha played Aarti, a loving wife.Rekha was seen dressed in high leather boots and a rifle in hand, something that was never seen before in Bollywood. The strong, women empowerment portraying film also starred Kabir Bedi, Shatrughan Sinha, Rakesh Roshan and Sonu Walia in lead.
