Her uncles are the well-known actors and singers Anoop and Kishore Kumar, respectively in their own fields. The Mukherjee sisters Shomu, Joy, and Deb are her cousins. Preeti Ganguly’s Debut:

1974 was the year that she made her debut in Parinay, following in the footsteps of both her father and her uncles. She primarily took on parts that offered comedic relief to the audience, particularly ones in which she played a lady who was unrealistically fit. Her career began in 1974 and continued through 1988, during which time she appeared in around 30 films. After achieving her goal weight, she returned to the acting world in 2005 with roles in the films “Tum…Ho Na” and “Aashiq Banaya Aapne.”

She began to lose weight from her body, and as a result, she almost immediately stopped receiving offers. As a result, she made the decision to build an acting school in Bombay, where she expects to locate talented individuals to act in her television series. Film Appreciation was a class that her father used to teach, and actress Shabana Azmi also made appearances in the classroom. The duration of the acting class is close to six months, and there is a maximum of fifteen students that can participate. The majority of the pupils who have chosen to attend her school are from households that fall into the upper middle class.
