Renault Duster with a new 1.3-liter turbo petrol engine was officially launched on Monday. The Renault Duster with this new engine was first shown at the Auto Expo and was scheduled to go on sale shortly thereafter.
With the launch of the Turbo variant, a CVT auto will also be reintroduced in the Duster’s lineup.
“This is a world-class engine and powers our successful global SUVs and crossovers like Kadjar and Arkana,” said Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director, Renault India Operations.
Renault Duster Price:
The starting price of the Renault Duster turbo is Rs 10.49 lakh and this is for the manual transmission. The price is Rs 80,000 more than the regular petrol variant. There are three variants (RxE, RxS and RxZ) of the manual and two for the automatic (RxS, RxZ prices start from Rs 12.99 lakh). Renault India also sells the regular Duster petrol with a manual transmission. Prices begin from Rs 8.59 lakh. One can now book the Duster turbo petrol at all authorised Renault dealerships or through the company website. Deliveries begin in a few weeks.
Renault Duster Features and Specifications:
- The Duster Turbo will come with new features such as cabin pre-cool via remote functionality, idle auto engine start-stop and a bigger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
- Duster will carry forward existing equipment list including projector headlamps with LED DRLs, four speakers and two tweeters, and cruise control.
- Safety features on offer are likely to include dual front airbags, reverse parking camera, and hill start assist.
- The new Duster offers a high ground clearance of 205 mm, along with high approach and departure angles to accommodate Indian road conditions and consumer preferences.
