On Republic Day 2021 metro service will remain close at some stations. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), has taken this decision for safety reasons.
Republic Day 2021 Metro Timings: Stations that will remain close
Delhi Metro services will be partially disrupted on Republic Day 2021. Four stations around Rajpath will remain closed in the morning. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) confirmed that the Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan metro station, Patel Chowk metro station, and Lok Kalyan Marg Metro Station will remain closed on the morning of January 26.
Parking also closed
DMRC has also decided to close the parking lot besides partially closing these stations. Parking at all these stations will also remain closed from 6 am on 25th January to 2 pm on 26th January. DMRC has tweeted, “Entry and exit will remain closed for some time on 26th January 2021 at these stations. The train replacement facility will be available at Central Secretariat Station. The parking facility will remain closed from 6 am on 25th January to 2 pm on 26th January. ‘
Republic Day Update
Entry/exit to the following stations will remain closed for a short period on 26th January 2021. Interchange shall be available at Central Secretariat.
