Rohan Gupta has been appointed as Chairman of Social Media Department of All India Congress Committee on Saturday.
Gupta was the brain behind not only revamping the GPCC website but also involved in the launch of blogs and handles on social media such as join hands for change, bluffmastermodi, etc. Gupta who has been a coordinator in the media department of the party, is best known for leading the party’s IT cell for the Gujarat Assembly elections in 2017.
Last year, he was part of the party’s efforts to professionalize its media management strategies by holding tests for people wanting to be spokespersons.
