Kolkata, Sep 10 (IANS) The city police on Tuesday seized Rs one crore in cash suspecting it to be a hawala transaction from the Burabazar area in central Kolkata.
One person has been arrested, police said.
Polcie suspect that the money was obtained through hawala transaction.
An investigation was on to unearth the source of money and the intended beneficiary, police said.
