In a tragic incident, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat’s car turned turtle while attempting to save a cow standing in the middle of a road near Warora in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district. While Bhagwat escaped unhurt, one of his six security personals was injured.

As per the reports, Bhagwat was returning to Nagpur from Chandrapur when the foremost car i the convoy spotted a stationary cow in the middle of the road. Bhagwat’s car had already passed the cow, but a vehicle in the same convoy coming from behind met with this accident.

The driver tried to avoid the cow and braked hard, which resulted in a tyre burst and the vehicle toppling over.  The cow was unhurt in the incident that took place at 5:15 PM near the Chandrapur-Nagpur highway. There were six CISF personnel in the SUV, of which one got injured due to the toppling over of the vehicle.

Rest of the convoy prcoeeded as per schedule and the injured security official was shifted to Nagpur for treatment.

Mohan Bhagwat earlier survived an accident on October 6, 2017, when his speeding car rammed into another vehicle in his cavalcade along the Yamuna Highway in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district.
