Just as we were beginning to revel in the pride of having our very own YouTube star in Dhinchak Pooja, YouTube has taken down her songs because someone claimed copyright over them. The matter is not yet exactly known but certainly, it is disheartening news for many of her fans.
Dhinchak Pooja became popular on the Internet after her songs like ‘Swag Wali Topi’, ‘Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj’ went viral and definitely not for the right reasons. Her songs were cringe- frothy pop with off-note and tone-deaf specificities.
As media reports are to be believed someone who goes by the name of ‘Kathappa Singh’ reported about her songs on which YouTube removed her videos. While we hurriedly rushed to check if by any chance of luck this was just another case of fake news, we did not find the heavily-viral songs on her verified YouTube account.
However, there is still a flickering ray of hope for her fans as her last song “Dilon Ka Shooter” was released after public demand is still available on her official YouTube channel.
The news of internet sensation generated quite a buzz on the internet, especially on Twitter just as her songs have created in the past. While media reports that her videos have been deleted because of the copyright issue. Some also say that because the Delhi police were investigating her latest video Dilon Ka Shooter because it featured her riding a bike without a helmet.
