Mexican and American actress Salma Hayek has been a part of many Hollywood films. Recently, the actor shared a post on social media which left everyone impressed and shocked at the same time. Hayek who is known for her roles in movies like Wild Wild West and Frida (as Frida Kahlo), the actor took to social media and revealed she is a devotee of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi.
Yes, that’s true. In the post, Salma wrote “When I want to connect with my inner beauty, I start my meditation focusing on the goddess Lakshmi, who in Hinduism represents wealth, fortune, love, beauty, Māyā (literally meaning “illusion” or “magic”), joy and prosperity. Somehow her image makes me feel joyful, and joy is the greatest door for your inner beauty.” Apart from that she also shared a beautiful picture of the deity.

Within a few minutes, Salma’s post got viral on social media and many fans started to pour in positivity in the comment section. It should be noted that this is not the first time a Hollywood star has found solace in an Indian god. Celebs like Julia Roberts, Miley Cyrus, and more also believe in the power of Hindu gods.
On the work front, the gorgeous actor started her career in 1993 from the film Mi Vida Loca. She has given many super hit films till now including Fools Rush In, 54, Wild Wild West, In the Time of the Butterflies, Frida among others. She was last seen in Drunk Parents and has signed many projects like The Road Not Taken, Bliss, Eternals and others.
