Salman Khan-Alia Bhatt's Inshallah will be shot across Haridwar, Uttarkashi and Rishikesh

Sanjay Leela Bhansali will soon take his ambitious project Inshallah to floors. The two stars had announced their collaboration with SLB on social media. Now, latest reports suggest that the Padmaavat director has started scouting for locations to shoot his film. According to rumours the movie will be shot in Haridwar, Rishikesh and Uttarkashi.

According to a report in TOI, “The ‘Padmaavat’ filmmaker spent four days last week scouting for locations for the film in Haridwar, Rishikesh and Uttarkashi. Bhansali reportedly also visited the famous Maya Devi temple in Haridwar and sought the blessings of the deity before beginning his recce in the region.”

Chinmay Pandit who is working on Inshallah told TOI, “Bhansali sir last week yahan aaye thay aur unhone Haridwar aur Rishikesh mein kuchh locations dekhen hain jo unhe pasand bhi aaye hain.” “Sir saw the Ganga Aarti and also participated in it in Haridwar besides seeing a few houses too,” he added. However, the filmmaker is yet to confirm. “I am still awaiting his confirmation for that as to when he wants to go there,” said Pandit.

After the announcement was made, Alia Bhatt was trolled for her unusual pairing with Salman due to the age difference. When the actress was asked about it, she had told Mid-Day, “Bhansali is a visionary. People are too quick to judge. There is a plan in place and a reason behind the [unusual] casting. I am thrilled to be working with Salman. Even I never thought this combination [working with Khan and Bhansali] is possible. It will be an intriguing journey and Salman is genuinely warm and kind. They are a magical duo together and I am blessed to be in it.”
