Salman Khan fans can finally celebrate as Dabangg 3 is slated to go on floors next month. The industry, trade and the moviegoers have been waiting for the third installment of the Dabangg series for seven years now after Dabangg 2 (2012) and nine years after Dabangg (2010). And now Salman is set to get into Chulbul Pandey’s avatar when the film goes on the floors in April. A source close to the project reveals that the film’s first schedule will be shot at a place which is very close not just to Salman, but to the entire Khan family.
The first schedule of Dabangg 3, will be shot in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. But it’s not just any other location for Salman family. For those of you who do not know, let us tell you that Salman Khan was born in Indore and so the place is very close to the star’s heart. In fact, the Khans even own a huge house there. And the source reveals that the film will be shot at a location about 100 kilometers from Indore. “Dabangg 3 will go on the floors very soon (April 1) and we are starting to shoot in Indore. The location is very special for the Khan family as Indore is their native place. Salim (Khan) saab is also very attached to this place, as is Salman. The entire cast will be participating in the first schedule of the film.”
Produced by Arbaaz Khan and Salman Khan, Dabangg 3 will be directed by Prabhudeva. The film that also stars Sonakshi Sinha is slated for a December release. The film is also expected to clash with Karan Johar’s Ayan Mukerji-directed magnum opus, the Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra Part 1.
