Sir Sean Connery, the first actor to play Ian Fleming’s James Bond in film, has died at the age of 90, the BBC reported on Saturday. Connery was the first actor to play James Bond. He went on to star in seven Bond films.
Some of his other popular movies include The Untouchables, Marnie, Murder on the Orient Express, The Man Who Would Be King, The Name of the Rose, Highlander, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt for Red October, Dragonheart, The Rock and Finding Forrester.
The Scottish actor, who was knighted in 2000, won numerous awards during his decades-spanning career, including an Oscar, three Golden Globes and two Bafta awards.
