Sejal Sharma’s suicide news that shook the entire industry, it was a few days earlier Kushal Punjabi suicide has come to fore and now another one in the industry has not only shocked everyone but also give rise to concerns.
The actress, who was last in TV show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, committed suicide on January 24 evening. Reportedly, a suicide note was found near her body in which she had not blamed anyone.
But now her mother has claimed that she wasn’t depressed. According to a media report, Sejal’s mother said, “She had got a lead role. I don’t know what happened after that she chose to kill herself.”
It was Sejal’s co-star Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji Donal Bisht, who had also said, that the actor had auditioned for a role and was also shortlisted. Her suicide letter was reportedly written in a hurry and was not legible.
A media report was quoted a Thane police official as saying, “We are calling experts to decipher many words in the letter written cursively. However, from whatever we have been able to understand, she was tired of the struggles in life. He also informed that she also apologized to her parents stating that they would have to live with the stigma for her decision (of committing suicide). In the note, she has not to blame anyone for her decision to take the extreme step.
For the uninitiated, Sejal Sharma’s body was taken to her hometown, Udaipur where her funeral took place.
