September 2025 Film Guide:September 2025 is coming in hot for Indian movie lovers and honestly, for cinema nerds everywhere. This isn’t just a regular movie month, it’s a total content buffet. Get ready to block your weekends because here’s the lowdown on the nine films about to hijack your watchlist.

September 2025 Film Guide

1. Mirai (12 September 2025)

Teja Sajja’s Mirai Gets a New Date: September 12 Release Confirmed

Mirai looks wild, imagine futuristic eye-candy with a heart. Teja Sajja and Ritika Nayak lead the charge. This one’s for the sci-fi geeks and daydreamers, but honestly, anyone who likes a good adventure.

2. Heer Express (12 September 2025)

Umesh Shukla’s cooking up some feels here. Heer Express is about a young woman, Heer (Divita Juneja), who gets thrown from Punjab to the UK after losing her mom.

But wait, Gulshan Grover, Bollywood’s OG villain, playing a sweet dhaba owner? That’s worth the price of admission alone. Bring tissues and maybe some snacks, because apparently food plays hero here.

3. Love in Vietnam (12 September 2025): September 2025 Film Guide

This is the first official Indo-Vietnamese film. Shantanu Maheshwari, Avneet Kaur, and Khả Ngân (who’s making her Hindi debut) headline.

It’s based on Madonna in a Fur Coat, so expect heartbreak, longing, and culture-bridging romance. Gorgeous locations, catchy tunes (“Bade Din Huye”), and Farida Jalal dropping wisdom bombs. Bollywood romance, but with a passport.

4. Ek Chatur Naar (12 September 2025)

Crime? Check. Comedy? Double check. Umesh Shukla again, but this time he’s getting darkly funny. Divya Khosla Kumar and Neil Nitin Mukesh star. Rumor has it, there’s blackmail, greed, and enough plot twists to make your head spin. Basically: if you like laughing while watching people be terrible to each other, this is your jam.

5. Mannu Kya Karegga? (12 September 2025): September 2025 Film Guide

Need a breather? Enter Mannu Kya Karegga? which is a college rom-com about a guy trying (and probably failing spectacularly) to win over his crush. Vinay Pathak’s in the mix, so expect some good laughs. Not deep cinema, but sometimes you just want popcorn and relatable cringe.

6. Jugnuma (12 September 2025)

Now for something a lil’ spooky. Jugnuma drops Manoj Bajpayee and Priyanka Bose into a Himalayan village full of secrets, fires, and folklore. If you like slow-burning mysteries and that “wait, what’s really going on here?” vibe, this will scratch the itch. Bajpayee being Bajpayee so, basically, crushing it.

7. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle (12 September 2025)

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle India release

Anime fans, you can stop hyperventilating. Infinity Castle is coming, and it’s a big deal. Five languages (yes, FIVE) in Indian cinemas, 5 a.m. screenings for the truly obsessed, and those juicy, Ufotable-level fight scenes. Tanjiro vs. Muzan? Take our money.

Baaghi 4 OTT Release: Streaming Date, Platform, and All You Need to Know

8. Jolly LLB 3 (19 September 2025): September 2025 Film Guide

Arshad Warsi takes a dig at Akshay Kumar, says was a bad move not signing him and Boman Irani in Jolly LLB 2

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi back together with Saurabh Shukla (the funniest judge ever) and Amrita Rao. Expect rapid-fire jokes, legal shenanigans, and probably a few digs at real-life headlines. If you liked the first two, this one’s basically mandatory viewing. Jolly LLB 3 promises to deliver a mix of witty courtroom drama, satire on social issues, and laugh-out-loud humor.

9. Nishaanchi (September 19, 2025)

Nishaanchi Release Date, Cast, Storyline, and more

Anurag Kashyap’s at it again with Nishaanchi, and honestly, I wouldn’t expect anything sugar-coated. The dude’s all about keeping it raw and in-your-face. He’s roped in Monika Panwar, Vedika Pinto, Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumud Mishra, and a fresh face.Aaishvary Thackeray, so you know the cast isn’t messing around.

Expect gritty vibes, messy ambitions, backstabbing left and right, and a constant fight to survive. Basically, classic Kashyap. The film’s got that real, unfiltered feel like it’s allergic to Bollywood gloss. If you’re into movies that actually make you think, this one’s right up your alley.

September’s basically a movie lover’s fever dream. Action junkies get Mirai, while Heer Express is there for anyone needing some heart or a little dose of culture. Dreamers and romantics? Love in Vietnam’s calling your name. If thrill’s your thing, Jugnuma and Nishaanchi have your back. Comedy crowd’s probably already buzzing about Jolly LLB 3 and Ek Chatur Naar. And anime fans? Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is about to melt your brain.

Long story short: September 2025 is gonna be wild at the movies. There’s something for literally everyone, and you’re probably gonna want to clear your weekends.
