After Shah Rukh Khan walked out of Rakesh Sharma biopic, his fans have been waiting to see their favourite star in action after his last film Zero. While the film might not have worked on the box office, SRK’s fan following hasn’t been affected by the failure of one film. In fact, fans have been happy to see actor shooting for a Ted Talks 2.
The wait has been on to hear about Shah Rukh Khan’s next film announcement. A while back when Shah Rukh was in China, he had mentioned that he will be announcing his next in June. And looks like this is going to happen. According to trade buzz, it seems Shah Rukh is finally ready to take up his next project and it is with none other than Rajkumar Hirani.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh may be in talks with Rajkumar Hirani for a love story. While the details of the project have been kept under wraps, it is believed that Hirani and SRK have met several times over the past few months and might announce their association soon. The report also stated that Hirani will not be collaborating with Vidhu Vinod Chopra for this project and instead, Hirani might float his own production banner.
A source told a daily, “People have been waiting for Shah Rukh to announce his next project after Zero. Shah Rukh and Hirani have been meeting since the past few months discuss this. It’s almost finalised. Hirani will float his own banner and will not work with Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It’s a romantic drama with a strong emotional cord running through. It’s right up SRK’s alley.”
So far SRK hasn’t announced any project officially. He is also said to be in talks with Netflix.
