Shahid Kapoor stepped into the Bollywood industry with ‘Ishq Vishk’ as his debut film. It’s been 16 years that the film was released and now after 16 years, the sequel of the film has been confirmed by producer Ramesh Taurani.
Shahid Kapoor rose to fame after the hit film also starring Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasury as the female leads. Shahid made many fans because of his chocolate boy looks and even today fans gush on his charming looks.
Producer Ramesh Taurani stated that “Yes, we are making a sequel to Ishq Vishk. The story is in the scripting stage and could be about a teenage romance or a college romance. Hopefully, in the next two-three months, we will lock the script and start looking for the director and cast.”
On being asked on launching Shahid Kapoor, he said so I asked him to wait for two-three years before I could launch him. When Ken narrated the final story of Ishq Vishk to me, I told him that I had a hero who fits the part and introduced him to Shahid.”
On the work front, Shahid is currently busy shooting for Kabir Singh, a remake of the critically acclaimed Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy. The film is directed by Sandeep Vanga, who has also helmed the original film.
The makers of the film are yet to reveal more details about Ishq Vishk’s sequel.
