Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi’s father and theatre artist Arvind Joshi passed away earlier today. Confirming the news of the demise of Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi’s father Arvind Joshi, actor Paresh Rawal confirmed the news of Arvind Joshi leaving for heavenly abode later today via his Twitter account.

Paresh Rawal in his tweet said “Irreparable loss to Indian theatre; with grief we say goodbye to the noted actor Shri Arvind Joshi. A stalwart, a versatile actor, an accomplished thespian, are the words that come to mind when I think of his performances. My condolences to @TheShermanJoshi & family.AUM SHANTI”. Condolences on the loss of the well-known artist has flooded the internet and everyone is wishing for a peaceful life for the actor’s father- Arvind Joshi.

Arvind Joshi was also a well-known Gujarati actor and has a son, who is a Bollywood actor- Sharman Joshi, who is married to actor Prem Chopra’s daughter Prerna. Though much knowledge of Arvind Joshi is not there, but it is said that the actor was in Sholay as the elder son of Sanjeev Kumar aka Thakur in the film Sholay. He is the one who was murdered by Gabbar along with the rest of Thakur’s family.
