Confirming the news of the demise of Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi’s father Arvind Joshi, actor Paresh Rawal confirmed the news of Arvind Joshi leaving for heavenly abode later today via his Twitter account.

Arvind Joshi was also a well-known Gujarati actor and has a son, who is a Bollywood actor- Sharman Joshi, who is married to actor Prem Chopra’s daughter Prerna. Though much knowledge of Arvind Joshi is not there, but it is said that the actor was in Sholay as the elder son of Sanjeev Kumar aka Thakur in the film Sholay. He is the one who was murdered by Gabbar along with the rest of Thakur’s family.

Apart from the iconic film Sholay, Theatre artist Arvind Joshi also worked in popular films like Rajesh Khanna’s popular starrer Ittefaq and Naam starring Sanjay Dutt-Amrita Singh. This acting talent also came in Arvind’s son Sherman and he also became an actor.
