Madhya Pradesh: Infight intensifies in BJP post assembly election results

Ahead of Madhya Pradesh assembly polls, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s brother-in-law, Sanjay Singh Masani joined Congress on Saturday in New Delhi. Stating as a major setback for BJP, sources claimed that, “Sanjay Singh was not happy with the working of BJP in the state.

Singh joined the Congress in the presence of State Congress Chief Kamal Nath and Campaign Committee Chief Jyotiraditya Scindia. After joining Congress, Sanjay Singh said that “Madhya Pradesh needs Kamal, Nath not Shivraj, who has been chief minister for 13 years”.

Singh alleged that BJP is promoting dynasty politics in the state.  However, son of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Kartikey Singh denied commenting on the whole political development.

Kamal Nath said that “Sanjay Singh has expressed his resentments against BJP and following which, Singh has joined Congress.

The Madhya Pradesh polls, which is witnessing a major battle between Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Congress is turning interesting every day. The voting will take place on November 28 and the results will be declared on December 11.
