The situation in Assam has become a battleground with massive and violent protests across the state against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.

Amid the protests going on Assam, Bollywood singer Papon known for his songs like Moh Moh Ke Dhaage has canceled his concert in Delhi as his hometown Assam is burning.

The singer took to his Twitter to apologize to his fans who have bought the ticket. In a Twitter thread, he wrote, “Dear Delhi. I am very sorry but I have decided not to do the concert tomorrow at ‘imperfectoshor’ as planned! My home state Assam is burning, crying and under curfew!
