The Mr India actress was awarded Padma Shri in 2013 by the Government of India. She also received “Order of Afghanistan” in 1991. She made a comeback in Hindi cinema with ‘English Vinglish’ which was globally appreciated.

Himmatwala

Paired opposite Jeetendra, Himmatwala – directed by K. Raghavendra, went on to become a super hit film and also showcased Sridevi’s versatility as an actress.
