SSC Phase 8 Selection Post notification 2020: The official notification has been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for Selection Post Phase VIII/2020 on its official website. Candidates who are willing to apply for the post can visit the official website to check the official notification at ssc.nic.in.
The online registration process for the SSC selection post has started from 21, 2020. Candidates can apply for the post till March 20. The exam will be conducted for the recruitment of 1337 vacancies in various departments from June 10 to June 12, 2020.
Candidates who have passed class 10th exam, 12th exam or graduation exam can apply for a different level of posts.
Applicants are advised that before applying for the post they must check all details regarding eligibility, fee, salary and so on. Candidates can check the Annexure 3 of official notification given on the last page.

Last Date to apply- March 20
Last date for fee payment- March 23
Date of CBT exam- June 10 to 12
Eligibility criteria:
For different level posts, eligibility criteria varies. Before applying, candidates should check the vacancy notification carefully.
Scheme of Exam:
There will be three separate Computer Based Exams which include objective type multiple choice questions, for the posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary and Graduation & above levels.
For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks.
Steps to apply:
- Open the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
- Check the official notification of SSC Selection post phase 8 available on the homepage
- On the right side of the homepage, click on the register or login option
- Enter all the details asked correctly, then, save and proceed further
- Now, upload your photo and signature
- Make a payment of the application fee is required
- Submit the application form
