Due to the fear of the coronavirus pandemic, students across the country are demanding to cancel or postpone the upcoming exam. Almost everyday tweets showing job seekers’ requests to cancel the exam.
A few days back, #PostponeCAExamsTillNovember trend appeared on the microblogging platform and students sought the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to cancel the exams that were scheduled to be held in the coming days.
Now, not only CA students but, also CS, NEET, JEE Main, all candidates are rallying on the Twitter timeline to postpone the exam during the pandemic. #Cancel_CA_CS_exams and #HealthOverExams are heavily trending on social media and student and parents urging the respective conducting body to consider their plea.
Initially, ICAI postponed the CA June 2020 exams because of the increasing outbreak of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown. Similarly, JEE Mains, NEET and CS exams 2020 were all delayed.
All these exams are now slated to be held in July 2020. However, students of all the above examinations want exams to be cancelled or postponed until the spread of the virus is contained.

The official conducting bodies—ICAI, NTA and ICSI, have not yet responded to the viral hashtags.
As of now, all the above examinations will be conducted in accordance with the revised schedule issued by their respective conducting bodies.
