Vapi Police on Wednesday arrested 28-year-old man for being involved in the sensational double murder of two woman including her mother on January 11. The crime has turned out to be a sinister contract killing plot hatched by Bipin alias Guddu Brahmdev Maheta – son of 51-year-old deceased Rekha – and his partner in crime Kundan Shambhu Giri.
Investigation revealed that Bipin had hired two shooters for Rs five Lakh to kill his mother as he was terribly upset over her illicit relationships with some men.
On the fateful day, her childhood friend Anita alias Durga Khadse, a native of Pulgav in Wardha district of Maharashtra had come to stay with her for few days.

Besides the illicit relationship, a dispute over sharing earing from their rented property was also one of the reasons.
Bipin found out about his mother’s relationships by bugging her phone and checking Whatsapp messages. He also logged in to her Facebook using her credentials. Rekha and Khadse were shot dead at the former’s house in Chanod Colony of Vapi on January 11.
