Sushant Singh Rajput demise: Rhea Chakraborty reportedly gives detail of Europe trip that changed actor

Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. He was reportedly suffering from depression from the past 6 months.

After November 2019 when the actor and his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had gone on a Europe trip. It was October 2019 and it was then, after his return, Sushant’s health allegedly deteriorated.

Many of Sushant’s former staff have spoken to various media houses about the sudden change they saw in the actor after he returned from the Euro trip. Now the details about this trip with Rhea and what changed him after their holiday are revealed by India Today.

As per the portal, Rhea Chakraborty has told officials in her statement that the couple was holidaying at Florence in Italy in October 2019, where she, for the first time, witnessed Sushant was being affected due to mental illness.

The portal reported that as per sources, Rhea told the officials in her statement that they were staying at a 600-year-old heritage hotel in Italy during their October 2019 Europe trip. In that hotel, there was one painting where Saturn was devouring its own child and Rhea who was in another room with her brother Showik Chakraborty later found Sushant chanting some mantras and looked visibly shaken after seeing the painting.
The Jalebi actress even tried to ask him what happened, to which Sushant replied saying he could see the characters in the painting but was unable to describe it. Having said that, Rhea and her brother spent the night in the same room where Rhea told him that those were just hallucinations and she consoled him.
India Today further mentioned that the actress further in her statement said that after the hotel incident, Rhea and Sushant along with Showik headed to Austria for a detox centre, however, they all left soon as Sushant was not feeling well. The trio cut short their trip and after coming back to Mumbai, Sushant’s condition worsened.
According to Rhea, the Chhichhore actor would start screaming and shouting while sometimes he even started crying. Seeing his condition, Susan Walker – his psychotherapist – claimed it to be bipolar disorder. On the other hand, Rhea who has been with him throughout said he slipped into depression as well. Due to which, Sushant asked her to go back home which happened on June 8, as put together in India Today report.
