Every week there is some or the other film releasing at the box office and with it, the notorious piracy website makes it a point of leaking the film on their platform.
With leaking Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan and Bhoot: The Haunted Ship last week, the online piracy website has done it again and this week leaked Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad on its platform to watch online. The HD prints of the film have been leaked by the notorious website.
From a long time now, Bollywood, as well as the South film industry, has been facing a serious issue created by the piracy website TamilRockers. Despite numerous measures being taken to resolve the problem, there is barely any movie that has not come under the radar of this notorious website.
The movie has been receiving tremendous response from the audience and critics. But the fact that its HD print has been leaked online is sure to affect its box office collections.
Thappad, it has been co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and is directed by Anubhav Sinha. The movie also features Ram Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Manav Kaul, Gracy Goswami, Kumud Mishra, Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi and others in pivotal roles.
However, this is not the first time that they have leaked a film. Earlier, films such as Good Newwz, Dabangg 3, Pagalpanti, Marjaavaan, Ujada Chaman, Bala, Housefull 4, The Sky is Pink, Aruvam, Chhichhore, JudgeMentall Hai Kya, Super 30, Kabir Singh, Raatchasi, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Pakkiri, X-Men Dark Phoenix, Sacred Games 2, Mission Mangal, Saaho, Nerkonda Paarvai, Kabir Singh too suffered from piracy.
