After the match, Carreno Busta told reporters: “I didn’t watch the moment when he (hit) the ball-I was looking to my coach, celebrating the break.”
Besides Djokovic, three other players — Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki who participated in the event held in Belgrade and Zadar — have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Earlier, Viktor Troicki became the latest player to test positive for coronavirus after playing in Djokovic’s Adria Tour.
Nadal’s 12th French Open title strengthens his position in his bid to end the year as No. 1 for the fifth time, after 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2017.
Djokovic has 12,355 points ranking first, followed by Spain’s Rafael Nadal (7,945) and Roger Federer of Switzerland (5,950).
