In an appalling incident, a 42-year-old television actor assaults her former boyfriend to death by smashing his head with a log and hammer at her sister’s place.
As per a national daily report, she murdered him after he insisted on resuming the relationship. After committing the crime, the accused Devi went and surrendered before the police.
Around eight years ago, victim Ravi and Devi fell into love and started a relationship. Around two years ago, Devi’s husband and other family members came to know about their relationship and told her to end all terms with Ravi.
On Sunday, the day of the incidence, Ravi reached Devi’s sister’s house and asked her to help him reunite with her sister. Soon Devi and her husband arrived on knowing that Ravi had such intentions. After an argument, Devi attacked Ravi with logs and smashed his head with a hammer. He started bleeding profusely and he collapsed on the floor.
The accused then went to the police station and admitted to the crime.
