Tejas Box Office Collection Day 3: Tejas, an aerial action film starring Kangana Ranaut as a fighter pilot, did not attract many viewers on the day of its release. Evening and night showings of the film only saw a modest increase in audience attendance.
Tejas Box Office Collection Day 3
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, on its third day in theatres on Sunday, the film’s box office performance did not improve, and it grossed only Rs 1.3 crore in India, the same amount as the day before.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the three national companies PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis contributed Rs 85 lakh, accounting for 60 percent of Tejas’s first-day gross. The film’s overall Hindi attendance was 6.83%, which is not a positive sign. With such a start, Tejas must pick up the tempo over the weekend if it wishes to maintain its airborne status.
On Saturday, the portal Tejas reported 7.58 percent Hindi usage. It opened with a 6.83 percent occupancy rate in theatres. Tejas was released alongside Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, starring Vikrant Massey, which had a comparable opening but grew on Saturday as a result of positive word of mouth.

About the Movie
Sarvesh Mewara directed the movie Tejas. It follows the extraordinary voyage of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot on a perilous rescue mission. The film is said to inspire and instill a profound sense of patriotism in every Indian by demonstrating how Indian Air Force pilots work tirelessly to defend our nation while facing numerous obstacles.
Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vishak Nair, Kashyap Shangari, Sunit Tandon, Rio Kapadia, Mohan Agashe, and Mushtaq Kak are also featured in the film Tejas. Shashwat Sachdev composed the soundtrack for the film.
Tejas has already outperformed Kangana’s previous feature, ‘Dhaakad,’ which debuted with only Rs 50 lakh net. It is crucial to note that Kangana’s star power plays a significant role in this female-driven film.
According to boxofficeindia.com, if the film can maintain its current trajectory, it can anticipate a lifetime gross of Rs 15 crore despite its subpar start. The film cost approximately Rs 20 crore to produce.
Tejas may become Kangana’s fifth consecutive Hindi-language film to underperform, following Dhaakad (2022), Thalaivi (2021), Panga (2020), and Judgementall Hai Kya (2019), if current trends continue. Her most recent box office success was the 2019 historical drama Manikarnika, and she appeared in the Tamil film Chandramukhi 2 most recently.
