The Family Man review: Manoj Bajpayee is the soul of this engaging drama, thrill and comedy series

Helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, ‘The Family Man’ features Manoj Bajpayee to the digital space. These days the Indian web series space is growing and there are a number of shows coming up on a daily basis. The quality and the quantity is though not at par most of the times. But this one stands out of the list.

Premiering on Amazon Prime Video from September 20, The Family Man is touted as a spy thriller which is based on a man who is juggling between his family responsibilities and his duty to his nation.

For all those who admired the director duos earlier works, this one is a must-watch. The web series will not leave you disappointed also if you are a Manoj Bajpayee fan.

Need to have thick skin to survive in film industry: Manoj Bajpayee

Bajpayee plays Srikant Tiwari, an intelligence agency worker, who takes his duty seriously but he is conscious that his responsibilities as a husband and father sometimes end up falling short. In the first few episodes, you will see how he manages both the life roles by ease. His character is transitioned with comedy and some difficulty but its engaging to see how different his life is between the two.

The director duo with their unorthodox understanding of the world always comes up with something new and their works before Go, Goa Gone and Stree are proof of the same. In this one too, they have created a balance between Tiwari’s personal and professional life that appears to be a fun-filled ride but it is his sad reality that makes you laugh.
